Inviting a colleague
Your referral link lives in Settings. Send it directly, or send an invite to a specific email address and LocoBase handles the message.
When someone you invited creates their first location, both accounts gain 5 locations, 50 image reads, and 1 project. Those additions are permanent and they stack, so a scout who brings in six colleagues over a season is working with 30 extra locations without paying for anything.
The reward lands on the first location rather than on signup. Accounts that register and never use the tool do not move anyone's limits.
How many invites you have
Free accounts get 10, Indie gets 25, and Pro is unlimited. Your invite count follows your plan automatically when it changes. Invites that expire without being used do not count against you, and you can reissue one to the same address once the old one lapses.
The Expert Advisor program
Some people recommend tools for a living, or close enough. A location manager who trains new coordinators, a producer who sets up the workflow on every show, a department head whose crew follows their lead. The Expert Advisor program exists for them.
Advisors are designated by the LocoBase team rather than by applying. If your invites are consistently turning into working accounts, contact us.
What an advisor gives
Anyone who joins through an advisor's link carries a 10% discount on any paid plan, for the life of that account. There is no code to enter and no expiry. While LocoBase is free in beta, the discount sits on the account and applies the moment billing starts.
What an advisor earns
10% of the net revenue from every account that joins through their link, for as long as that account keeps paying. Commission is calculated on what was actually collected, so a refunded charge reverses the commission on it. A statement lands by email each month and the running detail is in the Partner tab in Settings.
What it does not do
An advisor has no access to the accounts they refer. No visibility into their locations, projects, or clients. The relationship is limited to the discount on one side and the commission on the other, which matters in an industry where the person recommending the tool is often working for the same production.
Tracking what happened
The referral panel in Settings shows who you invited, which invitations are still pending, and which turned into active accounts. Pending invites can be resent, including the personal note you wrote the first time. If someone you invited already had an account, the invitation converts into a share rather than a signup, and no reward is granted.
